Happy Food Trip Friday! How cute are these many-eyed monster cupcakes? I didn’t know monsters could actually look cute until I saw these. 🙂
I created them on Halloween, but I didn’t get to post it that week after life threw us a curve ball. It wasn’t really that bad a situation, but it was something that needed to get fixed ASAP. But I was so happy to finally be able to create some cute Halloween cupcakes for our kiddo. I’d been so busy before that I didn’t get a chance to prepare them.
Anywho, without a doubt, these many-eyed monster cupcakes are not yet late for Halloween, right? Halloween next year, that is! 🙂
If you remember I shared five cute Halloween cupcakes before Halloween, and after not being able to prepare any cute treats for Halloween for our little kiddo, I was eager to really do it this time…by hook or by crook. My initial plan was to create the mummy cupcakes from one of those five cute cupcakes. And then, this happened.
The mummy cupcakes turned into many-eyed monster cupcakes instead. And my boys said “Wow!” when they saw them so I think they were okay. I surely didn’t think of many-eyed monster cupcakes even before I started preparing. They just happened! 🙂
Here’s how to do it:
- Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
- Decorating Icing (white)
- Candy Eyeballs
- Cupcake Liners
- Rainbow Sprinkles (optional)
- Bake the cake mix as per package instruction in a cupcake pan with your chosen cupcake liners.
- Let cupcakes cool.
- Frost the top of the cupcake with the icing going circular.
- Place as many eyes as you want on the icing.
- Top with sprinkles if desired.
I’ve added sprinkles on some of them because our son loves sprinkles. But it’s really up to you if you want sprinkles or not. The sprinkles made them cute though, right? The ones without the sprinkles looked a little spooky.
Have you prepared any treats on Halloween?
Have a great Friday and hope you’ll have a fabulous weekend!
