I couldn’t thank my mom enough for teaching us the importance of breakfast. I’ve carried it growing up and have passed it on to my son as well as my dear husband. That said, there has never been a day in our house that I haven’t served breakfast. There’s always got to be something on the table whether life is hectic or not. Breakfast doesn’t have to be elaborate, anyway, to make it good. Even the simplest breakfast can be really good, not to mention healthy, which could give you the energy you need for the day.
Avocado is my most favorite fruit of all. Not only because of its healthy benefits, but because it’s really delicious. The second one is banana. And this avocado smoothie bowl is my most favorite breakfast to prepare – easy to make yet so full of healthy goodness!
With the addition of this tasty Cranberry Almond Crunch Great Grains® cereal as one of the toppings, my avocado smoothie bowl is given the crunch that I want to make the dish interesting.

Here’s how you make my easy and delicious avocado smoothie bowl. It’s so easy to make you’ll be done in minutes and ready to go!
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
- 1 banana, sliced
- Great Grains® Cereal (Cranberry Almond Crunch or your flavor of choice)
- Blend the avocado and almond milk. Add ice cubes if desired.
- Transfer the blended avocado and milk to a bowl.
- Top with the banana and cereal.
